The Green Room, formerly Kutz Hair Studio, was established back in 2001, taken over by Francesca in 2018 and now expanded further to The Green Room, doing hair, beauty, teeth whitening and tanning.
Our relaxed studio provides a welcoming and luxurious space for our clients to feel truly at home, whilst experiencing a level of understated sophistication. Our philosophy has always been client focused – ensuring that our clients are listened to and their wishes are met – whilst keeping ourselves at the cutting edge of style and technique.
Our hairdressing service is renowned for being delivered by uniquely talented stylists, trained to the highest levels. We are dedicated to ongoing commitment to professional development – our stylists have been trained by industry leading educators. Our clients can be sure that only the best quality products are being used in every aspect of our hairdressing; cut, colour, style and image.

Francesca – salon owner & director
Francesca has been hairdressing for over 15 years. Since day one she has always been a people person and can talk to anyone. If you’re nervous about getting your hair cut or even going to a salon, she will make sure you have the best experience in her salon. With a detailed consultation and a very warm welcome, you will feel at ease straight away.
Francesca enjoys all areas of hairdressing; she really does have an excellent eye for hair and is an exceptional colour artist (being a BLONDIE herself she knows the importance of having the perfect tones to suit that person). The more difficult the hair cut or outrageous the colour, Francesca will enjoy doing it. She is always up for a challenge and you’ll be amazed at what this girl can do!
Wedding parties and adventurous up-dos has always been a great buzz for Francesca, she strives to create and perfect a masterpiece of hair for any occasion. With her great love for hair and for people, she has decided to bring out her Bride Tribe Package to The Green Room which includes hair, nails, tanning, teeth whitening & make-up.
chloe – senior stylist
Chloe has worked and trained with Francesca for her entire hairdressing career and the similarities in their hairdressing shows this. With 9 years experience she is our Balayage Queen, due to a great eye for detail and colour. Chloe uses a wide range of colouring techniques to provide each of you with exactly what you desire.
Chloe is Francesca’s righthand girl when it comes to hair up; from weddings to proms or just a night out. With The Green Room’s new Bride Tribe Party Package she will be able to create the perfect updo for you.
beki – senior stylist
Beki has been hairdressing for over 10 years. She trained along side Francesca and after being self employed for a few years, decided to go back to her roots and rent a chair at The Green Room.
Beki’s true passion is wedding hair and over the years has styled many bridal parties, it is her natural flare. She has a great eye for hair and is sure to listen carefully to each clients wants and needs. As well as balayage, cutting and styling, what ever your hair desires, Beki will be sure to work her magic.
hilary – senior stylist
Hills is a highly qualified senior stylist and loves all aspects of modern and classic techniques for men, women and children of all ages.
She specialises in hair loss wig selection and fittings. She is also passionate about hair extensions and the wonderful looks they can create for that special occasion.
Hills is an initiative driven and creative hair stylist, making sure every client has the ultimate personalised experience when visiting the salon.
CHLOE white – senior stylist
Chloe, AKA ‘Chloe White’ (as she is our second Chloe at The Green Room) is one of our senior stylists. Alongside a range of services, colouring and balayage is her favourite. She also loves barbering. With a smile permanently on this girl’s face, her lovely personality will make you feel at ease whilst sat in the chair, eager to see your new look.
Ellie – stylist
Ellie will always give you a warm welcome at The Green Room, always smiling and a gorgeous personality. Now passing her level 3 with a distinction in hairdressing, her next step will be gents hair. You will always leave the salon delighted with your glowing hairdo or new colour. Beautiful soft balayage is Ellie’s best-loved colouring technique, she loves to transform a client’s look to their desire.
daisy – apprentice
Daisy is The Green Room’s first apprentice and she’s currently studying her NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing, alongside working full time in the salon.
When it comes to washing hair and that relaxing head massage, Daisy will have you feeling super chilled before your next service at The Green Room.
We believe Daisy will go on to be an amazing hairdresser as she is already flying high and well above average. Keep a look out as Daisy will soon be doing clients of her own!
karalyn – receptionist
Being a former hairdresser, Karalyn loves to take part in helping the stylists with shampooing and blow drying. She will greet you with a smile and will always be up for a chat and a laugh.
ANNA – RECEPTIONIST
You will meet our lovely Anna as soon as you walk into The Green Room at reception. With her previous experience working as a PA in the music industry, she brings with her a wealth of customer service knowledge. Always with a smile on her face and an offer of a tea or coffee, she will make you feel welcome during your visit to The Green Room.
jazz – receptionist
With her bubbly personality, Jazz will greet you when you walk in and get you ready for your service. She will help you arrange your appointments and make sure you have a cup of tea or coffee while you have a pamper!
SOPHIE – AESTHETICIAN
Sophie has rapidly grown a reputation as a leading Aesthetician in the area. She entered the aesthetics industry back in 2015 learning semi permanent make up during the very early stages of microblading and has since gone on to do her advanced techniques.
Sophie offers a wide range of treatments from anti-ageing, enhancing natural beauty and preventing signs of ageing, to body sculpting & contour, even hair loss…
Sophie is fully insured, fully trained in complications & first aid to ensure you the safest, most effective treatments possible. With over 30 certifications in the industry, Sophie continues to keep up to date with the safest, advanced & newest techniques to bring you the best possible service & treatments.
Lisa – Make Up Artist, brow & lash lift expert
Over the last 15 years Lisa has developed a freelance career specialising in natural, elegant and flawless make up. Having trained with the Bobbi Brown cosmetic brand, she has learnt the tricks and techniques to make your skin radiant, your eyes sparkle and give your confidence a boost.
Lisa specialises in bridal make up and considers it to be a privilege to be a part of a brides wedding morning. Whilst bridal make up is her passion, she also loves to work with private clients, offering one to one make up tutorials, prom make up and special occasion make up.
Lisa totally believes that beauty comes from within, so it is important to her that she helps you see your own natural beauty.
Lisa also offers brow and lash lift treatments within the salon.
MoLLY – SALON PUP
Molly is our salon pup. She is loved by all who enter and can easily cheer you up on a bad day with a cuddle and her happy nature. She loves to nap on your lap!
